MSCW Oct. 22, 2026 Unscheduled Maintenance: Key Changes

A Debt System was added to address mesos obtained through unauthorized means

  • Debt System added [1]
    • Targets mesos obtained through unauthorized means, such as real-money trading (RMT)
    • Players appear to have to repay an amount equal to the illicit mesos they received
    • Accounts with outstanding debt cannot set up personal shops, use hired merchants, trade items, send Cash Shop gifts, or drop items
    • All trade restrictions are lifted once the debt is fully repaid
  • The remaining changes are mostly optimizations and bug fixes, with nothing else particularly significant
